Two new papers stemming from my monkey research have just been published:

Superior Colliculus responses of single neurons in monkey during head-unrestrained eye-head gaze saccades in Communications Biology (and its Supplemental Material)
A thorough comparative study on spectral-temporal sound sensitivity of monkeys vs. humans, obtained from reaction times, which appeared in the Journal of Neurophysiology

Our two major ORIENT papers on our 6-DOF biomimetic eye have been accepted (March/April 2024) for

IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems and in
Frontiers in Robotics and AI (with Supplemental Materials )!

Number fun: I discovered some interesting aspects about the number 11, in particular on the divisibility of arbitrary numbers by 11, 111, 1111, 11111, etc.,
as well as some special properties of the 766,644 birthdays between 01-01-0001 and 31-12-2099 (which I dubbed "G8 numbers",
because of their special structure: dd-mm-yyyy with restrictions on dd and mm).
For example, did you know why the date 29-09-1999 is really unique? Or, similarly, what's so special about 25-06-1987? Read and weep!
